A new visual for the Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister anime, featuring the titular sisters and Shirahi Tsuruyama at the forefront, has been released before the start of the anime’s second cour on January 14, 2025 JST.

It was also revealed that the new cour’s opening song is “Pray Pray Pray” by the Amagami Sisters while the ending song is “Kamisama no Iutoori!” by ≠ME. Furthermore, a character song mini album, which also includes “Pray Pray Pray,” was announced with a March 19, 2025 JST release date.

Tying the Knot with an Amagami Sister first premiered on October 2 at 12 AM JST and is streaming on Crunchyroll and Bilibili. It is based on the Kodansha-published romantic comedy manga by Marcey Naito, which was originally a one-shot that was released in Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2020. Kodansha USA describes the manga as:

Uryu Kamihate has had a rough start to life, but plans to forget it all by achieving his dream-matriculating into medical school. But when he arrives at his new foster home, a working shrine, his dream of a quiet place to study goes up in smoke. Not only will he be living with the three beautiful, lively Amagami sisters-but he learns that he must marry one of them and take over the shrine!

The manga started serialization in 2021 and has 17 tankoubon volumes as of October 2024.
