To the surprise of no one, a fourth cour of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War has been announced following the conclusion of cour 3, The Conflict. An unveiling visual and promotional video were released as well, with the latter displaying the words “THE FINAL SEASON” partway.

The title of cour four was also revealed (“禍進譚”), but the pronunciation is currently unknown. (Update: Viz Media revealed that its English title is BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, Part 4 – The Calamity.)

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Conflict premierd on October 5 JST, while the previous cours began airing in October 2022 and July 2023. The anime adapts the last story arc of Tite Kubo‘s Bleach manga, which introduces Quincy king Yhwach as the new main antagonist.

The manga was serialized from 2001 to 2016 in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump and was collected into 74 tankoubon volumes. A special one-shot was released in 2021. The first Bleach TV anime aired from 2004 to 2012.
