The 2022-2023 Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury anime series is getting a spin-off manga subtitled Seishun Frontier.

The manga will provide a “parallel” experience where Suletta Mercury and Miorine Rembran meet as high school students in a near-future Japan. A visual depicting the characters in blazer uniforms was released.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury: Seishun Frontier is planned to begin serialization on Kadokawa’s Comic Newtype in early 2025. The scenario is written by HISADAKE (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury setting cooperation), while the art and costume designs are provided by Hiro Hata (Dogs and the Brave Are Not Showy).

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury premiered in October 2022 and ran for 12 episodes before another cour premiered in April 2023 to conclude the story. The Gundam.info YouTube channel streamed the series internationally for free. It was the first Gundam anime to be set in the Ad Stella timeline and have a female protagonist, and it also notably ended with Suletta and Miorine being married.

The anime’s premise is described as:

A.S. (Ad Stella) 122―

An era when a multitude of corporations have entered space and built a huge economic system.
A lone girl from the remote planet Mercury transfers to the Asticassia School of Technology,
run by the Beneritt Group which dominates the mobile suit industry.

Her name is Suletta Mercury.
With a scarlet light burning in her pure heart,
this girl walks step by step through a new world.
