A new key visual has been revealed for the ongoing Trillion Game TV anime series, showcasing the main characters Manabu “Gaku” Taira and Haru Tennoji with several other side cast members in the background. The anime’s second cour will premiere in Japan on January 9, 2025 and has been airing in Japan since October 4, 2024. It will run for 26 total episodes.
Yuzo Sato is directing the anime series, with Ryunosuke Kingetsu as series screenwriter, Kei Tsuchiya as character designer, and Takuro Iga as music composer. Madhouse is in charge of the animation production.

The anime is based on the manga series written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Ryoichi Ikegami. It was first serialized in Shogakukan’s Big Comics Superior magazine on December 11, 2020 and has released nine tankobon volumes as of April 2024. VIZ Media releases the manga in English for North America.
The manga also inspired a 10-episode live-action TV drama series that was released on Netflix. Another live-action film with the same cast and staff from the series will screen in Japanese theaters on February 14, 2025.
Crunchyroll is streaming Trillion Game in several countries and territories outside of Japan, describing the main synopsis as:
Old schoolmates Haru and Gaku will do anything to achieve success. And success to them means earning a trillion dollars! But to do so, they’ll need to take full advantage of their own unique skills. Haru is a persuasive and confident speaker who can connect with anyone, while Gaku, although awkward, is an expert programmer. Will their combined talents be enough to make their dream a reality?
