The Girl of the Year category recognizes female characters who have played important roles in their series and have been well-received by audiences. These characters are chosen based on their rankings in the Anime Trending Top 10 Female Charts, and the top 5 female characters from each season are selected as nominees.
The Anime Trending Awards voting period runs from January 6 – February 7th, 2025. The results of the 11th Anime Trending Awards will be announced on March 9th (PST)/ March 10th (JST) 2025.
