A new key visual and trailer have been revealed for the upcoming Aldnoah.Zero (Re+) compilation anime film, which will begin screening in Japan for a limited time starting February 28, 2025.
Aldnoah.Zero (Re+) will be a theatrical compilation of the original TV anime series, and will also include the new episode 24.5 “Fragments of Rain -The Penultimate Truth-.”
Aldnoah.Zero‘s first cour aired during the Summer 2014 anime season, while the second cour arrived during the Winter 2015 anime season.
The original mecha anime series was directed by Ei Aoki (Overtake!, ID Invaded) with Gen Urobuchi (Fate/Zero author, Puella Magi Madoka Magica series screenwriter) as story draft writer and Takako Shimura (Aoi Hana mangaka) as character draft designer. A-1 Pictures and Troyca handled the animation production.
The production staff also includes Katsuhiko Takayama (The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash) as series screenwriter, Masako Matsumoto (Overtake!) as character designer, I-IV and Kenji Teraoka (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury co-mechanical designer) as mechanical designers, Takahashi Hashimoto (Blue Gender design works, Code Geass: Rozé of the Recapture co-main animator) as mechanical and effects animator, and Hiroyuki Sawano (Attack on Titan) as music composer.
Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast stars Natsuki Hanae as Inaho Kaizuka, Kensho Ono as Slaine Troyard, and Sora Amamiya as Asseylum Vers Allusia.
