The SK8 the Infinity Extra Part OVA has released a new preview in the form of a main trailer. The anime is set to be released on March 19 JST, with a limited theatrical screening to kick off on January 24 JST.

The screening will include a “special” compilation of the anime’s first season and videos of the cast.

The SK8 the Infinity TV series premiered in 2021, with the OVA and a second season being announced in August 2022. The Bones original anime sees a transfer student being dragged into a downhill skateboard race called “S.”

Aniplex of America describes the show as:

Reki, a high school sophomore and skater, is addicted to “S,” a highly secret and dangerous downhill skateboarding race that takes place in an abandoned mine. The skaters are especially wild about the “beefs,” or heated battles that erupt in the races.

Reki takes Langa, a transfer student returning to Japan after studying abroad, to the mine where the races are held. Langa, who has no skateboarding experience, finds himself pulled into the world of “S”…

Season 2 will see the return of director Hiroko Utsumi (Bucchigiri?!Banana FishFree!), series composer Ichiro Okouchi, and character designer Michinori Chiba.
