The official Gundam YouTube channel has released a spoiler-containing promotion reel video for Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-.

Various details about the setting of Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX have previously been leaked, but the new video finally provides overseas fans a proper look at contents such as *redacted* and *redacted* ahead of the theatrical re-edit’s international screenings.

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning-  premiered in Japan on January 17 JST, serving as an early taste of the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX TV anime by containing some of the new series’ episodes. It will begin screening in North America on February 28, and will come to Southeast Asia at an unannounced date.

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is described as:

Amate Yuzuriha is a high-school student living peacefully in a space colony floating in outer space.

When she meets a war refugee named Nyaan, Amate is drawn into the illegal mobile suit dueling sport known as Clan Battle.

Under the entry name “Machu,” she throws herself into fierce battle day after day, piloting the GQuuuuuuX. Then an unidentified Gundam mobile suit pursued by both the space force and the police appears before her, along with its pilot, a boy named Shuji.

Now their world is about to enter a new era.

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX was announced in December 2024 as a studio khara and Sunrise co-production helmed by FLCL‘s Kazuya Tsurumaki. The previous Gundam TV anime was 2022 to 2023’s Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, which introduced the Ad Stella timeline and was the first to have a female protagonist.
