The 48th Japan Academy Film Prize has revealed the recipient movies of its Award for Excellence.

In the animation category, the five films are Give It All, Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Freedom, Haikyu!!: The Dumpster Battle, Detective Conan: The Million-dollar Pentagram, and Look Back.

Additionally, the Kaichou Tokubetsu award, which this year honors industry names with many contributions and achievements who passed in 2024, went to Nobuyo Oyama and Noriko Ohara. Oyama and Ohara were the voices of Doraemon and Nobita, respectively, in the 1979 Doraemon TV anime.

The winners of the 48th Japan Academy Film Prize will be announced on March 14 JST.
