Voice actress Yuka Nukui is joining the main cast for the upcoming Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu suru? (Iya, Shinai!!) TV anime series, which will begin broadcasting in Japan in April 2025.
Nukui will voice Rion Enomoto, who was the main character’s Yuu Natsume’s first love.

She joins a main cast that includes Kikunosuke Toya as Yu Natsume and Sayumi Suzushiro as Himari Inuzuka.
Yohei Suzuki (Sugar Apple Fairy Tale) is directing the anime, with Nozu Yaemori as series screenwriter and Natsuki Oyama (2.5 Dimensional Seduction Episode 11 co-animation designer) as character designer. J.C.Staff is handling the animation production for the series.
Danjo no Yujo wa Seiritsu suru? is an adaptation of the romantic comedy light novel series written by Nana Nanana and illustrated by Parum. The light novels were first published by ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko label on January 9, 2021 and has released 11 volumes as of December 2024, which includes the second part of the fourth volume. A manga adaptation by Kamelie began publication in 2021.

The main story follows young students Yu Natsume and Himari Inazuka, who are close friends that met and befriended each other at a middle school festival. Now in high school, the two continue maintaining their distance as “best friends” of opposite genders, until the appearance of a cool and beautiful girl named Rion Enomoto, who was Yu’s first love, changes their current lives.
