A new teaser visual and third PV trailer have been revealed for the upcoming original TV anime series Maebashi Witches. The anime will begin broadcasting in Japan in April 2025.
Junichi Yamamoto (Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion, More than a Couple, Less than Lovers) is directing the anime series, with Erika Yoshida (Bocchi the Rock!) as series scriptwriter and screenwriter, Inami Yu (illustrator) as original character designer, Nozomi Tachibana (Kemono Jihen) as character designer, and Yuri Habuka (More than a Couple, Less than Lovers) as music composer. Bandai Namco Music Group is credited with the music production, with Sunrise handling the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

- • Hinano Sakikawa as Azu Niisato
- • Honami Momose as Mai Kamiizumi
- • Rena Motomura as Kyoka Kitahara
- • Tomokazu Sugita as Keroppe
The five main characters, known collectively as the Maebashi Witches, will perform the opening theme song “Sugosugi Maebashi Witches!” Producer Tsunku (ClassicaLoid, Hyakko) wrote the opening theme song’s lyrics, and TORIENA composed the song. The five main cast members will also perform the ending theme song “Sorezore no Door.” Haruka Kumoi wrote the lyrics and composed the song, with Yuki Kishida handling the song’s arrangement.
Maebashi Witches takes place in Gunma’s Maebashi city, and follows high school girl Yuina Akagi being turned into a witch by a mysterious frog called Keroppe. Her room’s closet also suddenly becomes connected to a strange space. Yuina later meets four other witches — Azu Nisato, Kyoka Kitahara, Choco Mitsumata, and Mai Kamiizumi. Together, these five witches are tasked with granting the wishes of their customers.
