On February 21, 2025 JST, Sharp will debut a custom Sakura Miko humidifying air purifier (Kashitsu Kuuki Seijouki Customize Service <Sakura Miko ver.>).
The product will come with voice recordings of the elite shrine maiden — “more than 100 words” is the plan — and a handwritten message from Miko. It also features an illustration of Miko and a Mikopi with a jug of water drawn by Ordan.

The now-infamous duo of Sakura Miko and Sharp-branded humidifiers started thanks to an incident where the VTuber did not realize the need to fill her device with water.
So enduring is the impact of this now-three-year-old revelation, that Sharp announced the official collaboration last October. And as of January 23, 2025 JST, the form of that collaboration has finally been revealed.

Alas, Sharp has not managed to invent a machine that does not require water for its humidifying function to work. While the company apologized for being unable to defy the laws of physics, it did note that the upcoming Sakura Miko humidifying air purifier was “magic in a way” due to it being birthed from “PON” (slang for clumsiness).
The special COCORO STORE page for the product also hinted that this isn’t all there is to its collaboration with Miko. Until more is revealed, enjoy this official meme image of a Sharp employee standing before COVER boss YAGOO during an “apology” visit (there are other similar pics too). And remember, “NO Water, NO KASHITSU.”
The Sakura Miko humidifying air purifier will cost 121,000 yen (~US$773.50) with tax-included and uses the KI-TX75-W as its base model. Purifiers are scheduled for delivery one to two months from the order date, available via COCORO STORE and other home electronics e-commerce sites in Japan.
