IG Port has announced that animation production studio Signal.MD will be absorbed by sister company Production I.G to improve and increase profitability through the effective use of both companies’ resources.
The planned date for the absorption is June 1 JST.
Signal.MD was established on October 1, 2014 JST. The Musashino-based studio was the animation production studio for titles like Tantei Team KZ Jiken Note, Cyborg 009: Call of Justice (co-production), Napping Princess, Recovery of an MMO Junkie, The Wonderland, Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop (co-production), Fate/Grand Order THE MOVIE Divine Realm of the Round Table: Camelot Wandering; Agateram, Mars Red, The Fire Hunter, Kizuna no Allele (co-production), Nina the Starry Bride, and Shinkalion: Change the World.
