2025 will see the release of The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses (Kizetsu Yuusha to Ansatsu Hime), a TV anime adaptation of the manga written by Norishirochan and drawn by Yukiji Setsuda. The premise sees the capable but shy hero Toto forming a party with three beautiful girls who happen to be assassins targeting his life.
A teaser trailer and two teaser visual variants have been released.
Noriaki Akitaya (The Unwanted Undead Adventurer, Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon) is directing the CONNECT production with Michiko Yokote (Puniru is a Kawaii Slime) as series composer and Takao Sanao (The Unwanted Immortal Adventurer) as character designer.
The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses’ cast includes Shunsuke Takeuchi as Toto, Iori Saeki as Ciel, Hitomi Ueda as Anemone, and Haruka Shiraishi as Goa.
The manga has been serialized in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shonen Champion since 2022 and released its 10th tankoubon volume on the date of the anime’s announcement (February 7, 2024 JST).
