Warner Bros. Discovery announced today that the Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League, the sequel to 2018’s Batman Ninja, will be available exclusively on digital on March 18, 2025 and on 4K UHD and Blu-ray on April 15, 2025.
Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League will be available digitally starting on March 18, 2025 on Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, Google Play, Vudu and more. The digital version of the film will not be available in Canada. The film will also be released as a separate 2-film Digital collection with Batman Ninja that same date.
Meanwhile, the film’s 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray Discs will be available online and in-store at major retailers beginning April 15, 2025. The Blu-ray will include both Japanese and English-language dub versions, which are highlighted in the newly posted trailer below.

Some staff from Batman Ninja returned to work on the sequel anime film. They include Jumpei Mizusaki and Shinji Takagi as directors, Kazuki Nakashima as screenwriter, Takashi Okazaki as character designer, and Yugo Kanno as music composer. Kamikaze Douga is in charge of the animation production.

Warner Bros. Discovery describes the main synopsis of Batman Ninja vs. Yakuza League as:
The Batman Family has returned to present-day Gotham City after traveling back to the warring states period and saving history from being altered in the previous film, Batman Ninja. The next day, they witness a startling event – the Japanese island has disappeared, and a giant island called “Hinomoto” appears in the sky over Gotham City. Soon, countless Yakuza descend from the sky and attack the people of Gotham City. And, the Justice League has disappeared.
Detecting a strange energy reaction in the sky, Batman heads for Hinomoto to find its underlying cause. There, the Dark Knight finds a world where the Yakuza war with each other, and brutality reigns without honor or humanity. At the top of the world is the Yakuza League, a group of superpowered individuals, who look suspiciously like the Justice League. The Yakuza League is invading Gotham and, to save the city, Batman and his allies are in for the fight of their lives!
