The main trailer for next season’s Umamusume: Cinderella Gray has been released, previewing protagonist Oguri Cap’s racing chops and character, an epic soundtrack, and the newly announced Cour 1 opening song “Koeru” by Alexandros.
The upcoming anime also received a key visual with Oguri Cap balling her hands into determined fists, more cast announcements, and the reveal of its April 6 JST premiere date. The additional cast members are:

Umamusume: Cinderella Gray is based on the manga series drawn by Taiyo Kuzumi with Masafumi Sugiura (Umamusume S1 co-series composer) as scriptwriter and Junnosuke Ito (S1 producer) as planning composer. The manga, which is part of the Umamusume horse girl franchise, is about Oguri Cap during her time at Kasamatsu Tracen Academy.
The Umamusume: Cinderella Gray manga has been serialized since 2020 in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump and has 17 tankoubon volumes as of December 2024. The anime will have two split cours.
The Umamusume anime started in 2018 with a P.A.Works-produced TV anime series. The second season, produced by Studio KAI with assistance from P.A.Works, premiered in 2021, while the Studio KAI-produced third season was released in 2023.
There is also the web anime Umamusume: Pretty Derby — Road to the Top, which was streamed on the Pakatube YouTube channel, and the Umamusume: Pretty Derby — Beginning of a New Era anime movie. Both were produced by CygamesPictures.
