The NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers are hosting a special game night with the One Piece franchise on February 28, 2025, with fans set to receive a limited-edition T-shirt and poster. The collaboration was first announced and teased last December, with the Lakers set to face the Los Angeles Clippers at Crypto.com Arena.
A new collaboration visual for the game has also been revealed on the team’s social media, which features all ten members of Luffy’s Straw Hat pirate crew wearing purple and gold Lakers jerseys.
The special night will include several One Piece-themed experiences, such as a look at an animation sequence showing Luffy playing basketball and a “One Piece Bounty Rush” photo booth on the main concourse inside the arena. In addition, randomly selected fans will be invited to compete for prizes in a special on-court One Piece game.

The One Piece franchise has been involved in various collaborations these past few months, including most recently with the Boston Red Sox, Universal Studios Hollywood, LEGO, and many more.
