The From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman anime will be streamed worldwide exclusively via Prime Video, it has been announced. It will premiere on April 6.
A second key visual and new cast members were also revealed. The newly announced cast members are Arisa Nakada as Mewi Freya and Ryota Osaka as Spur.
Additionally, it was announced that a world premiere screening will take place at Kabukicho Cine City Square’s KABUKICHO TOWER STAGE on March 30 JST. The screening will feature the first two episodes.
J-Novel Club, which publishes the light novels’ official English translation with the subtitle , describes the plot as:
Beryl Gardinant, a self-proclaimed “humble old man,” is a sword instructor at his dojo in a rural, backwater village.
