The upcoming Tamon’s B-Side anime adaptation has received a teaser visual, which depicts main characters Utage Kinoshita and Tamon Fukuhara (in Jimehara mode) on an outing.
It has also been revealed that Chiaki Nagai (22/7 co-series composer and scriptwriter) is the series composer and scriptwriter while Yoko Ito (Delico’s Nursery) is the character designer and chief animation director.
Tamon’s B-Side is based on the manga by Yuki Shiwasu, which has been serialized in Hakusensha’s Hana to Yume since 2021 and has 10 tankoubon volumes as of January 2025. Viz Media describes the plot as:
Tamon is an insecure mess in real life, and what’s worse, he’s threatening to quit! Utage refuses to let anyone stand in Tamon’s way—least of all himself. What’s a fangirl to do but roll up her sleeves and support her favorite singer with everything she’s got?
