Titan Manga has announced that it has licensed author Ryu Kamio and artist Yu Nakahara’s crime thriller manga Stray, which will go on sale in bookstores, comic shops, and digital retailers starting December 2, 2025.
Kamio and Nakahara previously worked together on the manga series Last Inning. Nakahara also created and illustrated several baseball series like Bucchigiri, Wild Pitch!!!, Terukan Boys, and Hanshin Tigers Sousetsu 80-shuunen Kinen Zoukan.

Ryu Kamio, meanwhile, is the pseudonym of anime series screenwriter and scriptwriter Tsutomu Kamishiro, who has worked on series such as Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V, the 2004 Appleseed anime film, Ghost Hunt, and Capeta, among others. He also worked on the story for the 2006 manga Hakenshain Ogin.
Titan Manga describes the main synopsis of Stray as:
From the creators of Last Inning, follow an ex-convict’s path to redemption riddled with vengeance, betrayal, and deadly conspiracies – the stakes are too high for him to strikeout off the pitch.
After serving nine years for a crime he didn’t commit, Hachiya Ken is free—but his past is far from behind him. Released from prison, he’s confronted by Hana, the fiery daughter of a ghost from his past. Together, they’re forced to navigate a deadly web of betrayal, yakuza power, and political corruption.
As they uncover a conspiracy that runs deeper than either could have imagined, Ken must confront his own demons—and decide how far he’s willing to go for redemption.
Pre-order the manga’s first volume is now available from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books A Million and Forbidden Planet in the U.K.
