Voice actresses Aoi Koga and Nana Mizuki are joining the cast of the ongoing I’m a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic TV anime series. The two new characters made their debut in the anime’s ninth episode on March 4, 2025.
Koga is voicing Flora, who is an alleged princess sent from the Palta kingdom, while Mizuki is voicing the mysterious Shiela.

The series first premiered in Japan on January 7, 2025 and is expected to run for 12 episodes. Besides the first episode, the anime streams one week in advance of the Japanese TV broadcast on the U-NEXT and Anime Hodai platforms.
Kenichi Ishikura (Sakura Trick, Ongaku Shoujo) is directing the anime series, with Tatsuya Takahashi (The Faraway Paladin: The Lord of Rust Mountains) as series screenwriter, Midori Otsuka (Kamen no Maid Guy design works co-staff) as character designer, and Alisa Okehazama (The Reincarnation of the Strongest Exorcist in Another World) as music composer. Studio Deen and Marvy Jack are in charge of the animation production.
The anime is based on the fantasy light novel series written by Nazuna Miki and illustrated by Kabotya. It was first published by TO Books on February 10, 2020 and has released 10 volumes as of January 2025.
The series was first published as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro on September 7, 2019 and has also inspired a manga adaptation by Rio Akisaki in 2020. J Novel Club releases the light novels and manga in English digitally.
