Although Himmel secured 3rd place in the Boy of the Year category, he dominated the Supporting Boy of the Year category with 13,095 votes, the most votes out of all the characters across all the Character of the Year nominees in the 11th Anime Trending Awards.
These results for Boy of the Year and Supporting Boy of the Year highlight the strong fan support for both The Dangers in My Heart and Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End. Himmel had won Favorite Supporting Male Character in the Fall 2023 seasonal awards, while Kyotaro won Favorite Male Character in the following Winter 2024 season.
