Crunchyroll announced that it will resume simultaneous streams for the One Piece TV anime series, which returns on April 6, 2025 with the “Egghead” story arc. New episodes will be streamed on the platform in North America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Latin America.
Ahead of the simulcast’s return, Toei Animation will release One Piece specials 14-16 on Crunchyroll, as well as English dub episodes 1109-1122 starting March 18, 2025 in the same previously mentioned territories.

One Piece’s “Egghead” arc began airing in January 2024. During the broadcast hiatus, an edited version of the “Fish-Man Island Arc” titled One Piece Log: Fish-Man Island Saga was broadcasted. Another anime special titled One Piece Fan Letter debuted on October 20, 2024 in celebration of the anime’s 25th anniversary. The special is currently streaming on Netflix.
The long-running TV anime adaptation premiered in 1999 and has aired over 1,000 episodes over its more than 20 year run. Toei Animation is in charge of the animation production.
Eiichiro Oda’s original manga series was launched in Weekly Shonen Jump on July 22, 1997 and has released 111 tankobon volumes as of March 2025. The anime series was preceded by a Production I.G-produced OVA released earlier the same year.

VIZ Media releases the One Piece manga in English, describing the main synopsis as:
As a child, Monkey D. Luffy was inspired to become a pirate by listening to the tales of the buccaneer “Red-Haired” Shanks. But his life changed when Luffy accidentally ate the Gum-Gum Devil Fruit and gained the power to stretch like rubber…at the cost of never being able to swim again! Years later, still vowing to become the king of the pirates, Luffy sets out on his adventure…one guy alone in a rowboat, in search of the legendary “One Piece,” said to be the greatest treasure in the world…
