An anime adaptation of Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling has been announced with a commemoration visual and the unveiling of its main cast.
The cast members include Shunichi Toki as Illusia, Ami Koshimizu as the voice of God, and Miku Ito as Myria.
Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling is a light novel series written by Necoco AKA Nekoko and illustrated by NAJI Yanagida. It was initially published under Earth Star Entertainment’s Earth Star Novel label but has been under Square Enix’s SQUEX Novel label since Volume 13. Seven Seas Entertainment describes the premise as:
Our hero wakes up one day in a brand new world…but his new life doesn’t come with fighting skills or magic powers, or even arms and legs! He’s reborn as a helpless egg, stuck in an unfamiliar forest surrounded by terrifying, hungry beasts. But eggs hatch, hatchlings grow up, and humble beginnings can lead to something great. He’ll do his best to become the strongest dragon ever, and no measly shell will get in his way!
Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling was originally a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel that debuted in 2015. The light novels started in December 2015 and has 16 volumes as of June 2022. There is a manga adaptation.
