Shueisha’s Manga Plus has announced that the upcoming new Aka Akasaka serialization Marchen Crown will be available from March 19 JST, the same date that it will debut on via Young Jump’s 16th 2025 issue.

News about Akasaka’s post-OSHI NO KO manga, which was reported as featuring a romance between a prince and princess in a fairy tale-like world, first emerged on November 14, 2024 (the date that OSHI NO KO‘s last chapter was released on).

Akasaka (Kaguya-sama: Love Is War) is writing Marchen Crown‘s story while Kujira Aoi (Geek Circle Crisis: Hime no Koiji wa Bug Darake mangaka) and mangaka unit Ajichika (Record of Ragnarok) handle the composition and art, respectively.

Akasaka had worked on OSHI NO KO since 2020, while Kaguya: Love Is War was still ongoing. Scum’s Wish‘s Mengo Yokoyari drew the art for OSHI NO KO.

While the OSHI NO KO manga has come to an end, the anime adaptation is still active, with a third season scheduled to air in 2026.

Yokoyari hasn’t been linked to a new serialization yet, but she released a fresh one-shot titled Ai Bakka in Hakusensha’s Gakuen Le Paradise in February 2025.
