Shueisha has released a promotional video for Märchen Crown, the new Weekly Young Jump title written by OSHI NO KO and Kaguya-sama: Love is War‘s Aka Akasaka.
The manga, which has composition by Kujira Aoi (Geek Circle Crisis: Hime no Koiji wa Bug Darake mangaka) and art by mangaka unit Ajichika (Record of Ragnarok) made its debut today (March 19 JST) in the 16th 2025 issue of the magazine. It is also available on Manga Plus as a simulpub title.
Märchen Crown is inspired by the Rapunzel fairy tale, with the heroine of the manga sharing the name and tower-dwelling background. Manga Plus describes the premise as:
Rapunzel is a young girl who lives atop a tall tower and knows nothing of the outside world. One day she meets a boy named Mikel, who climbs the tower, and their destiny to change the world begins to unfold! The creators of “Oshi no Ko” and “Record of Ragnarok” form an incredible team to bring you the ultimate love story!
