A new key visual and two more cast members have been revealed for the ongoing I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? TV anime series, which also confirmed the premiere of the anime’s second cour in Japan on April 5, 2025. The anime began broadcasting on January 4, 2025 and will consist of 24 total episodes.
The anime’s staff also revealed that the new ending theme is “Darashinai Everyday” performed by the four main voice cast members as their respective characters.
The two additional characters joining the series include Mayu Sagara as Kiraa Ventol and Yurie Kozakai as Kurena Ventol.
HIDIVE is currently streaming I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? in select English-speaking territories, outside of Asia. Each episode runs for around 12 minutes and the streaming service has been releasing new episodes weekly as double features. As a result, international streaming is ahead of the standard Japanese standard TV and streaming release schedule.
According to the company’s website, it lists the anime’s 12th episode as the final episode on March 22, 2025, which includes episodes 23 and 24. It also includes a listing for episode 13, which will include the series’ two OVA specials on March 29, 2025.
Hisashi Saito (Kuroitsu-san from the Monster Development Department) is directing the anime, with Takashi Aoshima (The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You) as series screenwriter, Masahiko Suzuki (Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs) as character designer, and CMJK as music composer. Quad is in charge of the animation production.

The anime is based on the romantic comedy web manga series, written and illustrated by Kotatsu, with Yakitomato credited with the storyboarding. It initially started as a self-published web manga on Twitter on January 25, 2020, with the Japanese title NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dousei Hajimemashita.
The series was later re-published in Niconico Seiga’s No 9. Comic on February 22, 2024. Eleven digital volumes have been released by Kadokawa under its Dengeki Comics EX label as of November 2024. Four print tankobon volumes have also been released by ASCII Media Works as of December 2024.
