Minoru Toyoda‘s Draw This, Then Die (Kore Kaite Shine) manga is getting made into an anime.
Draw This, Then Die follows Ai Yasumi, a manga-loving high school student from Izu Oshima island (Toyoda’s birthplace) who starts to consider creating manga after a certain incident. It is serialized in Shogakukan’s Gessan and has six tankoubon volumes as of August 2024. It debuted in 2021.
The manga was one of the winners of the recent 70th Shogakukan Manga Award.
