A new promo video and visual have been revealed for the upcoming second season of The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, which showcases the angelic and devilish sides of the main heroine, Mahiru Shiina. The second season was first announced in October 2023 and a premiere date has not yet been announced.
The new video reveals a visual and narration that features a devilish version of Mahiru, based on an image released this past January.
Kenichi Imaizumi (Kingdom Season 3 to 5 and After School Dice Club director) served as supervisor for the first season, after originally being credited as director when the anime was first announced. Lihua Wang/Reika Ou was listed as director sometime before the anime premiered, with Keiichiro Ochi (Girlfriend, Girlfriend) as series screenwriter, and Takayuki Noguchi (Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway) as character designer. Project No.9 is in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast is headlined by:

The first season of the TV anime series aired from January 7, 2023 to March 25, 2023.
The anime is based on the original light novel series, written by Saekisan and illustrated by Hanekoto, starting from the second volume onwards. It was first published on June 15, 2019 under SB Creative’s GA Bunko imprint. Eleven physical volumes and a short story collection have been released as of March 2025. Yen Press releases the light novel series in English under its Yen On imprint.
A manga adaptation by Wan Shibata was launched in Square Enix’s Manga UP! app and website on January 6, 2022. Five tankobon volumes have been released as of March 2025. Square Enix Manga & Books licensed the manga for release in English.
Crunchyroll streamed the first season of The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, which describes the main synopsis as:
To thank him for his kind gesture, Mahiru cooks and cleans for her untidy neighbor Amane. But what was just a generous show of gratitude turns into more as they grow closer. This is the story of a sweet romance between a boy and the girl next door.
