A TV anime adaptation of The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest light novel series has been announced with an October premiere window, teaser trailer, and teaser visual.
Shuichiro Umeda is voicing protagonist Alec. The production credits include:

The Banished Court Magician Aims to Become the Strongest (Mikata ga Yowasugite Hojo Mahou ni Tesshiteita Kyuutei Mahoushi Tsuihou sarete Saikyou o Mesasu) light novel series is written by Alto and illustrated by Yunagi. K Manga describes the manga adaptation by Yuki Monji as:
“I don’t need a worthless mage who can only use support magic. You’re fired.” Alec, a court magician who supported the crown prince from behind the scenes, suddenly finds himself exiled from the royal court. Now jobless, he pays the magic academy a visit and runs into Yorha, one of his party members from his school days. The light novels are published under the K Ranove Books label and have five volumes as of August 2024. The original web novel started in 2020.
