The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity TV anime will begin airing this July. A key visual has been released.
The staff and cast of the CloverWorks production were also revealed. The former includes:
• Director: Miyuki Kuroki (Akebi’s Sailor Uniform)
• Associate director: Satoshi Yamaguchi (When Supernatural Battles Became Commonplace character designer)
• Series composer: Rino Yamazaki (UniteUp!)
• Series unit director: Haruka Tsuzuki (Akebi’s Sailor Uniform Episode12 co-storyboarder and director)
• Character designer and chief animation director: Kohei Tokuoka (Miraiiro no Fuukei CM)
• Music composer: Moeki Harada
The cast includes Yoshinori Nakayama as Rintaro Tsumugi, Honoka Inoue as Kaoruko Waguri, Kikunosuke Toya as Shohei Usami, Koki Uchiyama as Saku Natsusawa, Hiro Ishibashi as Ayato Yorita, and Aya Yamane as Subaru Hoshina.
The Fragrant Flower Blooms with Dignity is based on the manga by Saka Mikami, which debuted in Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket in 2021 and has 15 tankoubon volumes as of January 2024. It was a finalist in Shonen category of 47th and 48th Kodansha Manga Award.
