A second new main trailer has been released for the upcoming Apocalypse Hotel TV anime series, which highlights many of Yachiyo’s zany friends and the show’s opening theme song. The original anime series will begin broadcasting in Japan on April 8, 2025.
The opening theme highlighted in the new trailer is “skirt” by Japanese singer-songwriter aiko.
Additionally, the eight new cast members that were revealed in the trailer include:

- • Shinichiro Miki as Environment Checker Robot
- • Hiroyuki Kinoshita as Owner
- • Cho as Bumbuku
- • Takako Honda as Mami

- • Yoshiko Sakakibara as Mujina
Meanwhile, Saho Shirasu is voicing the anime’s main protagonist Yachiyo, who is the robotic hotel manager of the Ginzaro hotel.
Kana Shundo (Luminous Witches and Princess Connect Re:Dive assistant director) is directing the anime series, with Shigeru Murakoshi (I Parry Everything and Dark Gathering series screenwriter and co-scriptwriter) and series screenwriter and scriptwriter, Izumi Takemoto (creator of Apple Paradise and Aoi-chan Panic!) as original character designer, Natsuki Yokoyama (Gymnastics Samurai co-sub character designer) as character designer, Kohei Honda (Akiba Maid War) as background art director, Miyuki Sunako (Ahiru no Sora) as color designer, Masaharu Okazaki (86 EIGHTY-SIX) as composting director, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa (Land of the Lustrous) as music composer. CygamesPictures is handling the animation production.
A spin-off manga series titled Apocalypse Hotel Pusupusu will begin serialization on Takeshobo’s Storia Dash website in April 2025, around the same month the TV anime debuts.

The main story of Apocalypse Hotel is set in a lonely Ginzaro Hotel in Tokyo’s Ginza district, at a time when society has collapsed and humanity has disappeared. Nature has begun to reclaim most of its surroundings. Yachiyo, a hotel management robot, continues to manage the hotel, alongside other robots, despite the lack of guests. Together, they continue to maintain the hotel while awaiting their return.
