CyberAgent has revealed a new PV trailer for the upcoming Catch Me at the Ballpark! TV anime series, which will begin broadcasting in Japan on April 1, 2025. The trailer was released at the TV Tokyo AnimeJapan 2025 booth.
The new trailer spotlights some of the main characters at a busy professional baseball ballpark, including beer server Ruriko and her favorite patron, Murata. It also features the anime’s main opening theme “Hurray!!” by GENIC.
Junichi Kitamura (Fluffy Paradise) is directing the anime series, with Shigeru Murakoshi (I Parry Everything) as series screenwriter, Fumio Ida (Yadamon, Basquash! co-character designer) as character designer, and MONACA (Protocol: Rain) as music composer. EMT Squared is in charge of the animation production.

The original sports comedy manga series by Tatsuro Suga was first launched on September 3, 2020 in Kodansha’s Morning magazine and has released 16 volumes as of March 2025.
Crunchyroll will stream Catch Me at the Ballpark! worldwide, outside of Japan, and describes the main synopsis as:
To escape his tiring job, weary Murata finds escape at a nearby baseball stadium. While the games are thrilling, it’s Ruriko, the gyaru as cold as the beer she serves but secretly a sweetheart, who keeps him coming back. As her first regular, Murata discovers the warmth behind her frosty demeanor, and their hilarious, heartwarming encounters light up the ballpark and maybe even their hearts.
