Three new guest voice cast members were announced during a stage presentation at AnimeJapan 2025 for the original TV anime series Maebashi Witches. The upcoming series will begin broadcasting in Japan on April 6, 2025.
The three new guest cast include Yu Serizawa as Eiko Zen (left), Nao Toyama as Rinko Mitsuba (center), and Akari Kito as Yua Hosaka (right).



They join a main voice cast that stars:
- • Sakura Kasuga as Yuina Akagi
- • Tomokazu Sugita as Geroppe
- • Hinano Sakikawa as Azu Nisato
- • Rena Motomura as Kyoka Kitahara
- • Haruka Minami as Choco Mitsumata
- • Honami Momose as Mai Kamiizumi
The five main characters and voice cast, known collectively as the Maebashi Witches, are performing the opening theme “Sugosugi Maebashi Witches!” and the ending theme “Sorezore no Door.”
Junichi Yamamoto (Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke’s Mansion, More than a Couple, Less than Lovers) is directing the original anime series, with Erika Yoshida (Bocchi the Rock!) as series scriptwriter and screenwriter, Inami Yu (illustrator) as original character designer, Nozomi Tachibana (Kemono Jihen) as character designer, and Yuri Habuka (More than a Couple, Less than Lovers) as music composer. Bandai Namco Music Group is credited with the music production, with Sunrise in charge of the animation production.

Maebashi Witches takes place in Gunma’s Maebashi city, and follows high school girl Yuina Akagi being turned into a witch by a mysterious frog named Keroppe. Her room’s closet suddenly becomes connected to a strange space. Yuina later meets four other witches — Azu Nisato, Kyoka Kitahara, Choco Mitsumata, and Mai Kamiizumi. Together, they are tasked with granting the wishes of their customers in the area.
