The STUDIO4℃-produced feature anime ChaO, which sees an ordinary office worker dealing with the prospect of marriage to a mermaid princess, has received a teaser trailer and an August 15 JST release date.
The film also received a teaser visual and the announcement of its two leads. Oji Suzuka is voicing male protagonist Stephen, while Anna Yamada is the voice of the mermaid Chao. See how their first meeting and dates go in the teaser trailer below:
ChaO was announced in January. Another recent major STUDIO4℃-related film announcement was this month’s reveal of an All You Need Is Kill adaptation, which will focus on the character Rita Vrataski.
