Japanese video-on-demand service d-anime Store has released a new anime commercial, a follow-up to last year’s “Anime to Susume!” that’s labelled as “Season 2.”
“Anime to Susume!” Season 2 reunites voice actors Azumi Waki, Machico, and Ruriko Aoki as the characters Makoto Nagino, Erisa Mizuta, and Suzumi Nikai, respectively. In this short, which which is set to Keida Suna‘s “Mirage,” the three anime-loving girls are first seen partaking in separate activities before coming together for a dusk-lit watch party at their school’s external stairs.
According to the YouTube description, the video depicts the girls advancing through the slowly changing days with anime by their side even while having true-to-life struggles.
