Nanashi Mumei of hololive English Promise will cease her streaming activities and graduate from hololive production. Her final stream will take place on April 28th, 2025.
Mumei cited internal misalignment with the company and chronic health issues effecting her ability to use her voice over the last two years.
“I ultimately decided this made the most sense for myself,” shared Mumei during the announcement stream.
“I’m still so grateful to have been here over the last three and a half years. I never expected so much love and support for anything that I do. I never thought I could bring joy to so much people across the globe.”
Mumei also asked her audience not to spread negativity and speculation regarding the announcement.
“Let’s just try to have as much fun as possible… Let’s not ever be this serious ever again. Let’s resume being silly in the next stream, please.”
The stream followed a post announcing that Mumei had something important to share, garnering support from fans and fellow talents alike.
Mumei is the second member of hololive English Promise to graduate this year, following Ceres Fauna’s departure on January 3rd.
hololive production released a statement, thanking Mumei and for her contributions and wishing her the best moving forward.
