hololive VTuber Hiodoshi Ao will be suspending her activities following a recent medical examination on her adjustment disorders. She is part of ReGLOSS, the first unit of hololive’s hololive DEV_IS branch.
The unit’s upcoming 3D live event for their fifth single Sakura Mirage, which was set to happen on March 30, has also been postponed.
The agency also stated that ReGLOSS will act as a four-member unit for now — which consists of members Otonose Kanade, Ichijou Ririka, Juufuutei Raden, and Todoroki Hajime — while Hiodoshi makes a full recovery. hololive has also asked fans to refrain from asking their talents on anything related to the affected talent.
In a recent livestream Hiodoshi did before her hiatus, she mentioned that while her online activities are on break as well, her upcoming cover music videos will still be released.
Hiodoshi, alongside the rest of the ReGLOSS talents, are the first wave of hololive’s DEV_IS, a new branch of the agency focused on the theme of “growing together with everyone by taking on new challenges” with a focus on group projects and activities.
