McDonald’s Japan has released a new campaign featuring artists Ado and YOASOBI, as well as hololive talent Hoshimachi Suisei. The campaign, titled “Tirori Mix,” features a music video that promotes the fast-food chain’s popular French fries.

The music video features a mashup of three songs — Ado’s Yoru no Pierrot, YOASOBI’s Yoru ni Kakeru, and Suisei’s BIBBIDIBA — while also featuring the iconic tirori tune, which is the default sound of the French fry cookers at McDonald’s whenever they are done cooking.

Alongside the music video, a total of three campaign visuals — one for each individual artists, and of the three together — have been released.
McDonald’s Japan also released a special world on VRChat, allowing fans of Suisei to “take a picture with her.”
This is not the first time McDonald’s tapped popular Japanese artists for its Tirori Mix campaign. In 2023, Ado and asmi collaborated in a music video which also utilized the tirori tune on top of a mashup of Ado’s Odo and asmi’s paku.
The latest McDonald’s campaign also comes after its recent collaboration with Hatsune Miku where she sang about the “Shaka Shaka Fries,” as well as a collaboration with the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise for a special burger lineup collaboration.
