A new key visual, main cast, and staff have been revealed for the upcoming Hitozuma no Kuchibiru wa Kan Chuhai no Aji ga Shite TV anime series, which will premiere in Japan in July 2025.
The main voice cast for the anime’s “On Air Version” stars Takahide Ishii as Tsuyoshi and Shiho Kawaragi as Yui Koriyama.
Hajime Keima is directing the anime series and writing the screenplay, with Yoriko Karei as character designer and color designer, Yutaka Aota as art director, Tomohiro Hayashi as director of photography and editor, and Fumihiko Odera as sound director. Raiose is in charge of the animation production for the series.
WWWave’s Deregula label is producing the anime and releasing it under the unconfirmed English title Chuhai Lips: Canned Flavor of Married Women. It is the second production for the company after Yandere Dark Elf: She Chased Me All the Way From Another World!, which has been known to release more risque anime titles.
Hitozuma no Kuchibiru wa Kan Chuhai no Aji ga Shite is written by Chinjao Musume and illustrated by Tama Nogami. It began serialization on Kodansha’s YanMaga Web manga website on February 17, 2021. The omnibus-style erotic manga series has been collected into digital volumes as well as physical full-color volumes published under the title Hitozuma no Kuchibiru wa Kan Chuhai no Aji ga Shite: Zeitaku Full Color Strong Han. A total of 21 digital volumes have been released as of February 2025, with the first three volumes being released in print.
The manga series follows young college student Tsuyoshi, who enjoys drinking strong canned alcohol, and his various encounters with married women.
