Netflix confirmed, via its website and app listings, that the final two episodes of My Happy Marriage Season 2 will be streamed simultaneously next Friday on April 25, 2025. Both episodes are expected to debut around 7:00 AM PST.
The second season of My Happy Marriage began airing in Japan on January 6, 2025 and ran for 13 total episodes. Season two’s 12th episode aired a week later on March 31, 2025 and the 13th episode aired on April 9, 2025 after a production delay. A new anime project was announced this past month.
The first season premiered in Japan and on Netflix in 2023. An OVA was released in between the seasons in November 2024.
The second season features some returning and new staff. It includes Takehiro Kubota and Masayuki Kojima (new, director of Made in Abyss, storyboard artist and director of My Happy Marriage Episode 5) as directors, Sachiko Yasuda as character designer, and Ami Sato as series screenwriter and co-scriptwriter, who is joined by new scriptwriters Minori Hashiba, Fuka Ishii (co-screenwriter on Rankings of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage), and Momoka Toyoda (previously co-series screenwriter). Koji Morimoto is credited with the script development support for the series.
Other staff include Inspired’s Emi Katanosaka as background art director and Osamu Masuyama as background art advisor, T2 Studio’s Tsunetaka Ema as composting director, Anna Okamatsu as color designer, HALKA as kimono designer, and Evan Call as music composer. Kinema Citrus is handling the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast includes:

The anime is based on the light novel series written by Akumi Agitogi and illustrated by Tsukioka. It was first published under the Fujimi L Bunko label on January 15, 2019 and has released nine volumes as of March 2025. A manga drawn by Rito Kosaka was released in December 2018, as well as a live-action film adaptation in March 2023.
Yen Press releases the My Happy Marriage light novels and manga adaptation in English, describing the main synopsis as:
Born talentless to a noble family famous for their supernatural abilities, Miyo Saimori is forced into an existence of servitude by her abusive stepmother.
