The upcoming Bless TV anime has gotten its first full trailer, offering a 91-second look at its characters and visual sensibilities and previewing the ending song “New Page” by HIKKA.

A key visual of main characters Aia Udagawa and Jun Sumisaki, who were drawn by character designer Honoka Yokoyama, was also released. The other staff who worked on the visual were design works artist Kaoru Miyazaki (from nim), background art director Risa Wakabayashi, colorist Mana Hokuto, and compositor Eito Eki (the latter three are also part of the show’s core production team).

Bless is an adaptation of the manga by Yukino Sonoyama Kodansha USA describes the manga’s synopsis as such:

They said Aia was destined to be a model, and Jun was bullied for her freckles. Together, they will take back the power to define themselves in an inspirational fashion manga that asks cutting questions about what it really means to be beautiful—and what it takes to overcome an arbitrary system that seems to respect talent over hard work.

Shotaro Kitamura (Makeine: Too Many Losing Heroines!) is directing the anime at A-1 Pictures. Tomohiro Ono and Chiyuki Miura are starring as Aia Udagawa and Jun Sumisaki, respectively.

The manga began serialization in Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine Edge in 2022 and is currently running in Monthly Shonen Sirius. There are nine volumes as of October 2026.
