The two short kings, Ken "Okarun" Takakura (DAN DA DAN) and Kyoutarou Ichikawa (The Dangers in My Heart), shared a handshake on stage as they meet before the winner was announced. In the end, Ichikawa emerged victorious, claiming the title of Boy of the Year.
