Aniplex has released the main trailer for Mashle: Magic and Muscles The Divine Visionary Candidate Exam Arc, which begins on January 6.

Mashle‘s first season premiered in April and ran for 12 episodes. The anime is based on the Shueisha-published manga by Hajime Komoto, which Viz Media describes as:

Mash just wants to live in peace with his father in the forest. But the only way he’ll ever be accepted in the magic realm is by attending magic school and becoming a Divine Visionary—an exceptional student revered as one the chosen. But without an ounce of magic to his name, Mash will have to punch his way to the top spot.

The Mashle manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2020 and to July of this year. It has been collected into 18 tankoubon volumes.

Crunchyroll will stream Mashle: Magic and Muscles The Divine Visionary Candidate Exam Arc.
